The Entero Virus is coming out as pretty popular now. This is one out of 100 Entero viruses. This was identified in California in 1962. There are mild and severe symptoms in this virus. Some mild symptoms are fever, runny nose, sneezing, cough, and body and muscle aches. Some severe symptoms are wheezing and difficulty breathing. This can be spread by saliva, nasal mucus, and sputum. The Entero virus D68 is mostly spread around summer and fall in the U.S. This virus is just like ant other where it is spread around during it's season. But in 2014 there was a boom in the virus and tons of people had it. The people at risk are mostly infants, children, and teenagers , because they do not have a built enough immune system yet. Children with asthma have a higher risk from this disease than someone without asthma. This disease is only diagnosed by doing specific lab test. There is no specific treatment for EV-D68. Some people that have severe upper respiratory illness from this can be hospitalized. The only way you can prevent yourself is from doing stuff like when you have other types of these diseases. You can help yourself by washing your hands and avoid touching your mouth or eyes without washing you hands first. Also by not making contact such as kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or utensils with people. Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough. Also you should disinfect surfaces that you touch such as toys or doorknobs. This is what you need to know about the Entero Virus D68. Leave comments below please. :)
